drift
25 years shipping software. AI made me faster.
I'm Justin Moore, an AI-savvy senior engineer in Pukerua Bay. Still hands-on, and available on contract. Lately that's meant greenfield services on a new council portal, and moving old systems that quietly run something important somewhere maintainable.
Ported a legacy Java system to .NET at Wellington City Council. AI-assisted, at a fraction of the externally quoted cost.
How I work
Built to hand over, not to hang around.
Consolidation without downtime
Two of everything becomes one of everything, running the whole way through: migration paths, data reconciliation, and a decommissioning plan that actually completes.
Capability stays in-house
I build with your team, not around them. When the contract ends you own the system, the tests, and the pipeline. No vendor lock, no black box.
Boring where it counts
CI/CD, observability, and architecture you can still change in a year. You pay for a system over its life, not at go-live.
Track record
Systems people actually depend on.

Stack
Off the clock
Apps I built to scratch my own itches.
Both ship to real users: design, build, store review, and production support, solo. They're how I stay sharp across the whole stack.
